First, there would have to be an organization. Secondly, it would depend on the goals and purpose of their organization. Are they representative of a belief system? The USA seems to have indicated that they are. Are their goals non-profit? They could be. It all depends on how they are designed. Please remember, not every non-profit organization is one dealing with religion. The boy scouts, cemeteries, the red cross, ayso soccer, etc. are all non-profit organizations. The issue with the atheists is not what they believe, but rather how they would design the organization. Each state and the federal government have rules, check out the rules for the state you are located in. Chances are those rules can be found on-line.

Yes,an organisation is a good idea,because being an atheist is much nore difficult than being a believer.
