Well I am happy that there will be a Transformers movie, I will go see it, however I am highly upset that it will be based on the 'new' stupid version of the transformers and not the originals from the 80's.
Come on, bumblebee will be a corvette? it makes no sense.
It really upsets me that people make a movie based on something from the 80's and feel they should change it to go with the times, then expect everyone else to feel the same way.
Personally I think if you make a movie based on a cartoon series, you should be true to the series. Take TMNT for example, they based it on the new show that looks stupid, I would have liked to see it based on the original show that everyone loved.
But if you ask the directors and producers, they say "too bad, this is how I want to make it, I own the rights to it"
But anyway, I am happy that the movie will be out soon, and I will go see it. If I want to re-live my childhood, I'll just have to watch the old series on DVD (I own an actual legit set)

from what ive seen on the trailer, http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1808716430/trailer, it seems the transformers have become more evil then in the past. Besides that, they look a bit more realistic, and the animation is astounding. In my opinion, this movie looks cool.

I can't wait. I remember it from when I was a kid, I still have the original VHS of it. The graphics look better. Oh whatever, I am ready.

I think it wil be great because Steven Spielburg is one os the producers and his movies are great.
