We are moving to SW highlands ranch. I hear that the Santa fe light rail stations parking lots fill up before 7am. Is that true? If the mineral station if full, can you just continue to the next light rail station and park there?

I've never parked at Mineral, but I do know that I have not been able to find a parking space at Littleton Downtown station after 8:00 am in years! I gave up on that station and have been parking at Oxford on the street since then. There are always on-street spaces a few blocks away - never have any trouble. Also, many people I know always find something at Englewood, but that's almost downtown, so it's hardly worth the effort! Try Mineral first - it won't take you long to determine whether there are spaces - if not, drive five more minutes to Oxford.

I am from SW Highlands Ranch, and depending on the time of day, yes, that can be true. At the Mineral station, It can be tempting to park at the nearby Aspen Grove shopping center instead, however, I wouldn't advise it as they have signs saying they will ticket LightRail overflow parkers...depends if you feel lucky enough to get away with it, I guess.

The one thing they messed up with that light rail is not enough parking. It's likely to be a problem every station on that line. They built more parking on the new SE line. More info:
