Who are we to judge? We see some animals as OK to eat and others not. But if they happen to have a slightly different checklist then should we really condemn them?

i see your point, and agree.
why is a cow any "different" than a dog?
they are both animals.
it's a matter of culture.

I agree..it's hypocritical to sit down to a nice steak or pork chop dinner then condemn someone else for eating something we consider too 'nice' or 'cute' to eat. Meat is meat as long as care has been taken to ensure that they don't suffer.

if you eat animals then why should it matter what sort of animals you eat the french eat frogs and horses (not anti french just happens to be true and an example)
i dont eat meat but dont get into the politics of it either
brits eat all sorts of dead animals
but they are free to choose as is every one

anything that once breathed should not be eaten, in my opinion! its really cruel and its abuse of power. there should be no such checklist, we all share this earth and we should respect each other regardless of status. in this modern day its ridiculous that we cant all think more openmindedly and eat our meals with a clear conscience.

It's Saturday night, I'm half cut and you get all heavy on us. The French eat horses and if they stopped I would still hate them. If the Korean's want to eat dogs it's fine by me.

Agreed. As a matter of fact, pigs are more intelligent than dogs, yet no one protests about pork consumption.

Personally I'm a vegetarian. I oppose Korean dog consumption fervently, just as I oppose the consumption of pigs, cows, chickens and other animals.

PS: What moron gave this a thumbs down? Can you explain why?

..Id like to see them eat my dogs...Ive seen some countries skin them alive...boil them alive...they shouldnt be allowed to kill sheep and cows...their slaughter methods are barbaric...they dont have the same standards as us...thats what we object to..the blatant cruelty involved...you'd have to be a pretty hard hearted twisted type to condone it...or just ignorant...look up the peta website and type in korea...
