You're lucky. You need never get bored. One should be your career passion, the other should be your relaxation passion. This is the classic vocation-avocation combination.
I'd get into medicine if you can, and work hard to become as good a doctor as possible. And I'd continue to develop your free-time art interests (especially photography) so that you can always have an interest that challenges and relaxes you.
Good luck.

I had the same problem. I loved art and the world of medicine. But I know for a fact art really does not pay the bills, unless you hit it big and that is very hard. So I chose the medicine. I am a premed student and in my second year in college. The work load is hard. Just to get in med-school, you need to take calculus 1 and 2, gen chem, orangic chem, gen bio 1 and 2, and physics, and do other stuff also. the best bet is to talk to a premed advisor on some insight. I do photography and graphic arts as a hobby. I would rather travel the world and give free health care.

I say follow your heart as corny as that may sound. If you think about logically I think you will get more out of medicine since it's an ever changing field. I don't think you will get bored with it, there are so many discoveries nowaydays. Go with what feels right for you. Good luck!!

How can you get bored with medicine? It's changing rapidly all the time. Besides, you can spell medicine, not so much with photography.

Happiness IS success. Go for what you love. Go for what's individually desirous. The prospect of loving what you do IS everything. Societal tags for success, like money, long-days, and power are really empty facades.

I would go with medicine and remember, after you get your med degree, you are free to do any hobby but also able to support it.
