He set it up for the kids earlier this evening and very soon (and after a few beers) has taken it over completly, and is now murdering songs by the dozen.
The kids are begging for mercy and the dog is in hiding!
What can we do?

I was surely not that bad. I will have you know I was classically trained. It don't quite work with Robbie though I have to admit.
I have to do something while you spend all your time on answers.
PS I'm not drunk.
The kids left it unattended, couldn't resist.

Lol, aww, he's just trying to have some fun. (Is he a regular drunk? It probably won't be so cute if he is.) But, if he's just having fun, you should video tape him and show him the video when he's sober. Good memories. You can always take your kids out to dinner somewhere or something. Yo ucould also post the video on youtube. I'd totally watch it.

Fake a power cut - pull the fuses or trip the switches - do something the dogs are howling near me and they are going to wake the kids.

Laugh and sing with him. Enjoy the moment. He just set it up? When the excitement goes away of the new toy, you will both have had a good time !!!

lol, i have sympathy i really do . but is it not good entertainment? something to laugh at.
if you have a fuse box turn off the socket that the karaokes plugged into that should put a stop to it.

I guess the only way to make him stop is to turn off the music....OR take the kids on an outing, and leave your hubby behind, killing songs on his own.
