can animals cry?

According to ask.com chickens do have tear ducts so yes they can cry and yes animals can cry. I have seen my dog cry before...

Now I know that goats can't because they don't have tear ducts.

Yes they can, have you heard them howl or scream. Just kidding, not sure if they can cry like a wolf. It would be pretty hard to see chicken cry, because they don't show it and I don't think they have the ability to leak a tear like we can when we cry. Unlike dogs which can show facial expression of sadness, hunch inward with tail between their legs inward, ears downward and whimper. It is interesting topic, and the real question is how many animals and insects can cry? We know only a few animals that can cry.

most animals cry, usually to clean out their eyes, but humans are the only ones that seem to cry due to emotion distress

yes they can, just because there not humans dosnt mean they cant cry!!!! animals have feelings too you know :"(
