I'm not sure they are. Depictions of them are usually white, but that may be for illustration purposes only. I suspect they are really translucent and the only color you would see is whatever is on the other side of them.

Sperm aren't actually white, they are colorless. The white color of semen comes from the seminal plasma in which the sperm are suspended. The plasma contains organic and inorganic nutrients, as well as various proteins to help counteract the acidity of the vaginal tract.
