Also, I would like a progam that allows me to study the Italian language and help me master it.

Like OB said, AFS and Rotary are both very good programs for high school. Both AFS and Rotary offer summer programs but the way the programs function are both pretty different. Depending on what you want to get out of your experience should help you decide which one you want. I've heard that both programs are pretty good for both high school and college students. If you need help picking a program I suggest going to:

They know their stuff ;) They'll give you awesome information that will help you decide which program to go with.

Good luck!

If you are thinking High School Study Abroad there is Rotary and AFS that will allow you to go to italy. If you are talking college, I would google colleges in Italy and then look for the page that says study abroad. If you want to volunteer abroad I would suggest googleing Volunteer Abroad.

I studied overseas in Rome via my school, however I studied in Germany via a 3rd-social gathering application referred to as IES and they're quite well. My buddy studied in Spain with them as good and we each had nice studies. IES has techniques in Rome, Milan, and Siena.
