that lets you pay by each page sent and not monthly. oddly enough, I am not interested in free fax services, because I have this feeling that my faxes will show up with 20 advertisments. I can't believe people are still in the stone age using faxes, it's really quite annoying.

Windows has a built in Fax capability if you have a regular phone line. In Windows XP it's under Accessories... Communications... It will walk you through all the steps, including a cover sheet. All you'd need is the images of the documents to be faxed. It doesn't cost anything more than a regular phone call. We now have internet based phone service and it works through that, too.

go to efax, they offer both free services and a pay per page option, you can get a national number or a local area code if you want to pay extra. no advertising on the fax, but they will hit you up with email offers from time to time

it is calle efax
for most of them reciving is free but sending costs a little money and they have programmes such as efax messenger
