Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
If you know you will suffer. if you dont know you are happy knowing that you are the only one. Don't even think about that, if he treats you good, and makes you and your love ones happy, that's all that matters.

Nope. As long as things are good now, then knowing my wife cheated on me years and years ago wouldn't do me any good today.
Advice for those who HAVE cheated and want to come clean about it years afterwards.......few things could be more selfish. You can't handle the guilt of what you did so you're going to destroy any trust your spouse has in you and break their heart so that you can sleep easier at night? LIVE WITH THE GUILT. It's the price you pay for being dishonest.

it depends on the situation. You can never honestly know. Unless you see it with your own 2 eyes. lies can be decieving. But that does not mean you can not be suspisious or curious. If your spouse is acting shadey, or acting different from how you know, then something is going on, wether its cheating, or his emotions in general. its not always cheating, but that does not rule it out.
If you suspect it, i would look into it. because even the best men in the world and even the best woman can be decieved and decieve others
Live your life with no regrets! And feel what you think you should feel!

Yes, I would. I'd hate to think we live everyday of our lives in a complete lie. I'd also like to know why he felt he had to cheat and if there were things we needed to work on to keep him in my bed.
I would hate to wake up one morning after many years to know that he had fallen in love with someone else and he was leaving. I have seen this happen so many times. The wife thinks everything is fine, not knowing ( or not wanting to know) that things are not as she hopes they are. I'd like to know early enough to fix the things that are wrong before it's too late.
However, if my husband wanted to cheat, I'd probably already know. Because he and I have an open relationship. We talk, really talk.

Yeah because it's something we could work through. I understand that we're both human, and if he didn't develop an intense attraction to another human being, I'd be surprised. I guess I'm a realist. I know that there are 6 billion people on this planet, and to think that my future husband (ok, so we're not married yet) wouldn't be intensely attracted to another person would be naive of me. And he sees this the same way I do.
Besides, my parents' marriage survived 18 years of infidelity and two children as a result of that affair. If they can make it, I know we can.

Of course I would, but the wife is usually the last to know. Everyone laughing at her misfortune. If you have a friend who's husband or b/f is cheating, it is your duty as a friend to tell her. Don't make then the last to find out.

I think if it was over & wouldn't happen again ever, then I would rather not know! If I was told what would that do? I don't think I could ever get past it, so if I didn't want to get a divorce it would be best if I didn't ever know about it.
