I drove through the panhandle of Texas before and stopped at a supermarket (it must have been a local chain because I had never heard of the name before) and it was like a giant warehouse inside. All of the shelves were stocked with huge bags of potato chips and giant boxes of cereal and at least half of the shoppers were fat people. Most of the vehicles in the parking lot were giant pickup trucks or SUVs.
I thought to myself while I was there that this is what people must mean when they say everything is huge down in Texas.

Yes, the state itself is bigger than most all the others. The hair styles are bigger, the food portions are bigger (not suprisingly they also have many cities on the fattest citites list). So yeah, it's pretty true.

Not ALL things...but Pride in TX is over-the-freaking-top!
But even I have to admit...it is sooo much cleaner than Cali, and the sky is AMAZING.
The Mexican food sucks here but the barbecue is awesome.
