Do you have any other symptoms? Being tired for that long is unusual unless you just got over the flu or something else in your life that caused it.
Viruses such as a cold, the flu, or mono, can make you really tired.
Other things like stress, a new job, or a new sport can cause you to be more tired than usual.
But, there are a few things a bit more serious that can cause your symptoms. Leukemia, cancer, blood disorders, and chemical imbalances can cause you fatigue.
It's best to see your doctor about your symptoms. He can do some simple tests to see what is going on.

Are you by chance "depressed" or sad about anything? Depression, will make us tired, and fatigued. Or are you stressed out, or maybe working too hard, at work? If so, this also will cause us to feel tired with no (respect for any particular time, either), you'll just be feeling fine one minute and so tired the next.. You also should get your blood drawn at the doctor's and checked for "Low Blood Sugar" this "Hypoglycemia" will make you very tired, at any random times!! I have it, and I'm suppose to stay away from carb's and sweets and be on a high protein diet, and eat 6 small meals a day..... but its so hard to stick to this sort of diet when I was raised on bread's and tortilla's, and the like, you know.. So, I pay the price, for eating wrong, I'm not over-weight, and being any certain weight has nothing to do with it either.....but, I do come from a long line of "Diabetic's" on my father's side of the family!! And Hypoglycemia, is an early sign of things to come, I'll probably end up with diabetese myself.. And I really should take this illness more seriously because it can cause , a person who has it to go into a coma, seizures, and even death, if not treated properly..... And believe me, all of that scares the crap out of me....... So, if I were you hun, I would have your doctor's run a series of test on you..... Ask them to check your liver too, your heart, your blood for any types of diabetese.. Just all of it, and tell them how tired you are all of the time, and any other sign's you may have, too....... Like, if you eat a certain sort of food do you get tired afterwards? That's what happens to me, and I honestly think i've had this for years, longer than the doctor's have known about it, because for years I couldn't eat any sweets during the day time (because they'd make me really tired) so at night's when I couldn't sleep, I would simply have a peice of dark chocolate, or one cookie to help me to sleep and within 10-15 minutes I was off to "LaLa-Land" "Mee-Mee's" here I come!!Haha! Seriously they were great, and helped me to sleep!!! so , I wouldn't put this off any longer, hun... Just pick-up the phone on monday, and get an appointment as soon as possible!! This sounds to me, like it's nothing to delay, so for us here on Yahoo/A , go see a doctor, just so you'll know either way, and can rest easy if nothing is wrong with you , you know.. But if something is you'll need to get your medicine and whatever the doctor's need for you.. I hope you'll be okay, hun!! Smile and have a "wonderful day" in the meanwhile!! And get lots of rest if yoru body needs it, you know.. Dont stress about it until you've seen a doctor stress is so bad for all of us!!! Why add a day to your life hun!! Let us know what happened.. Okay by now..

this seems like many people are dealing with this. my husband is also very tired and without energy, he used to wake up with me every morning before I went to work. he would also be up several hours before I even woke up, now for around 3 weeks he has stayed in bed and has had no energy at all. he complains of headaches and pressure behind his eyes but has no symptoms of flu. when he is awake he tends to go to sleep again in no time at all, he wants to remain in bed but he also wants to figure out why he is feeling this way, he is worried because his father passed away at the age of 54 from cancer and also had he same symptom's that my husband is dealing with, along with head pain and neck pain that is constant and debilitating he also wonders if he could have sugar diabetes or the opposite being the need of sugar, his father also had sugar before he passed away, but my husband seems to say he needs sugar to make him feel well, he will become all shaky and weak and says he is dizzy, but when I give him a spoonful of peanut butter he feels better in seconds. but this weird feeling of being tired lately is not the same. we will be seeing a doc right away,,

The main thing is oversleeping. When you sleep more than 8-9 hours a day, you're going to still feel tired even though you slept enough. Another possiblity is that your body isn't getting enough exercise. If your active you don't feel sluggish.

Depression is one possibility as some of the other posters suggested, but hormone problems such as with the thyroid can cause this as well.
I would recommend seeing your dr to have them evaluate the possible causes for this.
