I HAVE thought long and hard Ive thought about it for the past 3 years and Ive obsessed about it for the past 2. I have knocked out quite a few careers that I know I dont want to do, but its left me with a wide arrange of careers that could possibly be a fit.

I have taken volunteer work, internships, jobs, etc.
I have also taken every career test imagineable and spoken w/ a career counselor ALOT.

DO NOT drop out of college stick with it. Pick a major that is most similar to what you like or think you might do in the future. Many people with a bachelors don't have a job related to their degree. Many jobs just require a bachelors and don't care what the degree is in. For example in I know a person that has a BS is Biology and is working in admissions at a college.

no definitely do not drop out of college. many people who do this end up never going back to finish up. i am currently in my second year of college as well, and i would recommend choosing a major that you think you will enjoy. if you are still unable to decide, you can always choose a general studies degree where you just do a little bit of everything. while this degree is not specialized in anything, it is better to have a degree in something than not having one at all.

Find something you enjoy doing.. there are so many majors and careers out there. I suggest getting out a piece of paper and writing down what you are good at and what you like to do in your spare time. Once you have a decent list go to http://careerbuilder.com or http://monster.com and one at a time type in each item from your list and see what kind of careers that may fit you. From there you may be able to find your DREAM job. Once you find that DREAM job look under requirements for that job and that will help you figure out your major.

This is one of many ways to help figure out what you should do with the rest of your life.

Good luck :)

To me, your major should be a combination of something you like and something that will allow you to get a decent job after graduation. Think about what you like, and then do some research on jobs that you can get with those degrees. Then use that information to make up your mind.

Some questions you should ask yourself are:

What am I good at? and What do I like to do?

Your major should be true for both those questions.

NO! Don't give up. Just think about what your likes, dislikes, and hobbies are. You can pick a major from there!
