I once being in a public assistance position had to go to a persons house to assist this person. This house was so filthy that you had to walk in trash to get anywhere. The only reason I was able to identify the bathroom as the bathroom is because I was able to locate the bathtub. For real I am not kidding around here. I was forced to contact the board of health and they did secure the home as a health hazard. There were several loads (TRUCK LOADS) of trash taken out.

A few years ago, I went to the house of a girl I knew in high school and I noticed brown streaks running down her walls, from ceiling to floor. I asked her if she had water damage and she said it was RAID. She had went around the house and sprayed RAID at the top of every wall. She said she thought it would keep the roaches off the walls at night. I mean, every wall, even in the kitchen.

That's nasty! Yeah well, I have a friend of a friend that I ONCE visited her home. I brought my kids along to play because she had other children their age. Great idea...so I thought. I went into the room to check on my kids and the aroma of crap filled the air. There were dirty diapers in a corner and numerous rancid milk bottles lying around. I almost threw up! I held my breath as I gathered my kids and headed for the door. I hated to be rude, so I just told her I had to go because my child had went to the bathroom in her pants. YUK!

At a friend of mines mother in laws house. You couldn't even walk around and the kitchen was stacked to its limits with dishes everywhere. Paths made in the living room where magazines and mail were stacked way high. The mother in law refuses to do anything about it sad really ;o)

This lady had over 50 dogs, there was 2 inches of waste throughout the entire home. A bank foreclosed on the home and they wanted someone to clean it up. I think Blackmon Mooring cleaned it up with soda blasting

I thought I had seen some dirty houses before but I can't top the above.
The most revolting thing I can remember seeing was a lamp made out of a stuffed Pig head, it was turned up and the post came right out of its mouth.

A mattress on which the owner regularly peed and that he never replaced. He had this alcohol problem, he also wet the couch. Although next to this mattress he kept his underwear in which he defecated due to his alcoholic tendencies and I'm not quite sure which of the two was more disturbing.

Once I had to go to my ex's girlfriend's house to get my daughter's diaper bag that they'd forgot to bring when they dropped her off.
Their dog had had puppies like 3 weeks prior and they were in a box in the kitchen- bloody blanket from when she gave birth and they'd never cleaned it up and puppy poop EVERYWHERE. I cried all night because my daughter had been in that house.
