It all depends on the company that one is working for and on the capability of the person working as an editor.

By your question I don't think you'll make a great editor. Try another field that doesn't involve spelling.

They can make anywhere from nothing to hundreds of thousands of dollars. One thought, however, make sure you edit your questions and the spellings before you submit them
