The eyepiece usually has an adjustment for different eyesight levels. The same type that binoculars have.

I wear glasses and use microscopes often, I find it's best to take off your glasses before taking a look. Simply adjust the focus and presto, clear as day. Also, you get a greatly improved field of view.

For a good microscope you just adjust the focus overall and each eyepiece has a seperate adjustment so you can correct for your eyesite .

i take off my glasses, and do a quick kohler illumination on the scope i'm using. this helps to correct for my nearsightedness. a kohler illumination is the adjustment of the diaphraghm and condensor specifically for the individual using the scope.
