did my washer eat it or my dryer. i think that it is the dryer. i just bought these socks they were so soft. i am super bummed! i want my sock. who has it?

I believe it was the dryer. Check there, or maybe the washer jacked it. You might always think it's the dryer, and then it turns out to be the washer! =P
