I had a frog when I was little, but I didn't know to feed it or what to feed it, so he died after a couple of days. Then I had a garter snake, same scenario. But as an adult my first official pet was a grey and white cat, named Kitsmew. He lived for 12 years, then he got to be so mean and spiteful, (scratching, hissing at everyone, and p*ssing all over the place) I had to have him put down.

The first pet I remember was a Boxer dog owned by my mom. Holly Topper Danbar was the name on the papers and for some strange reason we called him BIFF!! I was young -2/3years old. He was a loyal and true friend. My first pet once I lived on my own was a standard Dachshund - paper name Sinton's Red Hero- his name "Hero"(yeah, like the sandwich). He was the first in a long line of doxie's. my current best friend -Lil Bit is snuggled on the couch under a comforter as I play on the computer. Thanks for the memory.

A little fox terrier/beagle mix dog...with brown spots on her. Her name was Spottie and we had her for 16 years. She then went over the Rainbow Bridge to heaven with the other little doggies and cats and pets.

A Guinea pig named Joris. But that was my first personal pet. Before that we had a duck named Hamlet. He lived in the garden. Can't really remember him all that well though, I was very young then.

A chinchilla named Cinder. I luffed her very, very much, but she sadly passed away of an intestinal tumor on August 8, 2003. The vet couldn't save her.

As a married woman a mixed breed (cocker spaniel and french poodle) dog named Bambi, he died and I cried a lot so my husband got me another dog, Bambi's brother, who looked the same so I named him Bambi too, I had him for 10 years.
