I CLEANED EVERYTHING..and in safe mode. i have to do tons of system restores and sometime Yahoo messenger won't open. and, my windows to approve programs won't even load half of the time. any suggestions?

It sounds as though you have a registry problem. Mozilla does have some faults, depending on the system. I recently downloaded a free program that works quite well. Try it, might work for you.

I don't have a full understanding of whats wrong, but maybe someones put your desktop background as a screenshot of your real background ( why your icons won't work ) + put the real icons in the bin

Ultimately making icons unclickable.

The reason you can't connect to server is prolly through port + router reasons *Always seems to be that for me anyway*

You can turn the approve program thing off, that may help

Hold winkey+r, then run will open, type msconfig. When a little window opens up, it will be on general so got to startup and choose the programs you want to startup when you login to windows.

Start in safe mode, run scandisk or as it's called on XP error checking - you have a OS problem.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
