Something elected officials don't give a rats butt about. There needs to also be ACCOUNTABILITY as well. Too many politicians cause terrible stuff and get away scot free.

In politics, it means being beholden to your constituents, the people who put you in office. You are responsible to them not only when good things happen but also when bad things occur.

Bottom line, it means accepting fault for when you do a lousy job or make a mistake. Not trying to blame the other side or look for excuses, but being a man or a woman (depending upon what you are) and telling your voters that "I f****ed up. The buck stops with me". I alone am responsible for this mess and no one else. I'll accept the consequences of my actions.

Do not use those words around Democrats...they do not understand the concept....that's why they do NOTHING...they might be held RESPONSIBLE....
