my sister is pregnant and shes wondering if she can eat HALLS.. would that do anything wrong to the babie.. or is it just candy and does not contain any medicine things? thanks

Halls does contain medicine. It's not just candy. Any time she feels sick she needs to ask the doctor what she can and cannot have (they should have already given her a list). Having a cold when you are pregnant sucks. There's nothing much you can do to relieve your symptoms. She can use Saline Solution to spray up her nose to help with congestion (but it doesn't do much). My doctor said "no" to cough drops and vapor rub. Something in the vapors are bad for the baby. Tell your sister she needs to check with her doctor to find out what he/she approves of.

It does contain some medicine. The lable states to ask you healthcare professional but one or two a day probably won't hurt. If she needs more than that, she should ask the docter. He may be able to perscibe some lozenges for pregnant women.

Halls is actually medicine. I would only take a couple at the very most, so that if it can affect the baby in any way, she didn't take too much.

I think considering you can buy them at a supermarket they should be fine, anything you have to buy over the counter at a chemist are the ones you need to be sure of, just tell her to just eat a few a day

yes she can eat halls, they wont do anything wrong. my mom had halls for a cough when she was pregnant with me and i came out nice and healthy

She can take the non-medicated halls and be perfectly fine. =)
