I saw Elmo listed and have to agree, that would be a cute name for a red betta.

Flipper
Gizmo
I'd probably be able to come up with a half-dozen more names if I was able to view the betta in his habitat and observe his activities.

Well according to my 4 year old son you should name him Lighting McQueen or McQueen for short after the Disney Cars movie (he has a red betta fish that he named Mater)
But what about something meaning "fire" like Aidan which means Little fire or NURI which means My fire or even DRAGON Fire-breathing creature.
Well whatever you decide to name him good luck!

What about Arrow, Ruby, Heat, Ace... Something sound fiery and Burning with Energy will be a good choice I think...
