because the president lied to the american people. falsified inteligence reports, still want to see weopons of mass destruction, saddum had ties to osoma bin laden, and basicly george just wanted to help out his oil buddies.

New Age of Oil Colonialism
President Bush created history and started a new age of Oil Colonialism in the 21st Century. The genie of Colonialism cannot be put back into the bottle. The UN Security Council with 14-0 votes voted to recognize United States and Britain as the de jure Occupying Powers in Iraq for a renewable period of one year, and gave the control over Iraqi oil to United States, on May 22, 2003. It meant that United Nations legitimized Colonialism, and rolled back the De-Colonization process and recognized the First Colonial Government of the 21st Century. The Neo Colonial World Order began on May 22, ’03 and colonial empires became legitimate from then onwards. A New god of Oil raised its head in 2003 and the imperial god of Oil Lobby became overnight stronger than all the other Lobbyists, Pressure and Interest groups, political parties and heads of the organized religious Churches.
After United States got the consent of the United Nations Security Council to rule Iraq as legitimate Occupying Power, the God of Oil had its first Kingdom and rest of the world came forward to pay honors to the god of Oil. It is said that Halliburton & Co helped Bush win the Elections 2000 and established Bush Oil Administration in the White House in 2001, and encouraged the Bush Administration to wage war on Afghanistan and Iraq to promote America’s Oil interests. American Jewish lobby supported President Bush’s war on Iraq.
EVIDENCE OF CORRUPT MOTIVES FOR WAR ON IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN!
Was oil a key motive for the war against Iraq and Afghanistan? Is there a hidden agenda behind the "war on terrorism"? Read the evidence and decide for yourself.

This question dates back thousands of years. Mohamed traces his ancestry back to Abraham through Ishmael. Read Genesis 16:7-12. Where the Bible says "his hand shall be against every man" and vice-versa, think "Mike Tyson" or "Rocky" style.
Then go to the Qur'an (or Koran) and read surah (chapter) 9:111 and 9:5. In 9:111, the Qur'an explicitly states that believers (Muslims) kill and are killed for God. In 9:5, it explicitly states that believers are to kill and use every strategy of war against non-believers. Then, if the non-believers repent and convert to Islam, obeying all the laws thereof, then they are to be spared.
So, what? Crash planes into large, heavily populated buildings - then ask whoever survives if they want to become Muslims? Sorry, that is NOT the God I serve.
I have friends who are Muslims who live peaceful lives. They are typically liberals. I don't have any problems with Muslims or anyone else, as individuals, but the words printed in the Qur'an and the Bible, coupled with what happened on 11-Sep-2001, those cause me some concern. Muslim organizations, fuel prices, big vehicles, and Obama running for Pres., those cause me some concern.
Chew on this... More than 60% of the world's petroleum comes from 5 Middle-Eastern countries. Training terrorists and arming them costs major money. Is the vehicle you are driving supporting terrorism, or are you car-pooling in an econo-box? Just because your check book can cover you driving an Expedition, Escalade, Hummer, or CXT doesn't mean that you can afford to drive it.
What the US Govt. is doing in the Middle East is partly in response to 9/11, and partly to support America's thirst for bigger, thirstier vehicles. Pray, and go green.

We did not start it. The developed countries paid the Arabs for their oil. BIG MISTAKE. The Arabs are one generation removed from the stone age and goat herding camels. They do not know how to handle all that money. They would rather buy weapons than education. The rulers are greedy. They have not shared all that money with the average uneducated Arab. They are still spawning a lying, cheating, primitive mass of ignorant and now dangerous killers. They do not even realize that their rulers are the ones who have been cheating them out of all that oil money.

My bf is in the national gaurd....and from what he says and I hear from the news....
We are fighting because of 9/11. We were attacked by terrorists. Those terrorists are going up against their government;therefore we are uniting with the government over there to get rid of the terrorists. The purpose of being over there is to eliminate the terrorists who are trying to terrorize the USA. If we leave now, we're basically giving up. If the troops leave...the govenment will not be able to take on the terrorists and they will over power it. Then, they'll probably come after us again.

For oil and control of the Middle East for underlying US interests in that region.
It has nothing to do with 'freedom and democracy'.
