Should I answer this question, or will I just be speaking in doublespeak? I notice this with a lot of people, both liberals and conservatives alike. In politics, it's called strangely enough, speaking politics.
I honestly think it's a pretty hard-headed statement to make, unless you like to be a prejudice scumbag.
1984 was a good book by the way.

Anyone who's read Orwell's "1984" and has at least average intelligence and lucidity can easily compare Dubya's Presidency and see that he is the evil that Orwell warned us about... contrived war, lying to the public, common enemies of the people to rally them and herd them for their own hidden agenda, Big Brother spying, spys amongst us, no right to privacy, clandestine prisons, torturing of prisoners, changing facts with fantasy and lies, the elite class ruling that is above the laws, ethics and morals imposed on the rest of the populace (as the super rich and powerful and now even Dubya thinks of himself by refusing to allow this henchmen from testifying under oath, his distorted view of the Constitution and our laws)... But... of course, YOU know what it's like to bleep, bleep, bleep like the sheep in Orwell's Animal Farm (repeating nonsensical slogans and mindless rhetorical propaganda), don't you?

Politicians in general speak in doublespeak. Both sides. I usually vote Republican, but I am well aware that my party uses a lot of the same dishonest techniques employed by Democrats.

WAKE UP PEOPLE! Neither side, dems or repubs are on "OUR" side.

We need a new party for the people and by the people. The dems and the Repubs BOTH practise double speak and they do it effectively.

This is so they keep the country divided. If the People ever come togather they know that their game is over.

Wake up America before there is no America to wake up to!

I haven't noticed anyone speaking doublespeak. I have heard Conservatives constantly spreading hate and fear.

Have you ever noticed that those who desire power (Libs and Cons) talk in doublespeak?

You mean like the Healthy Forests initiative for cutting down trees.

The Clear Skies Initiative for relaxing air pollution standards for air quality'.

And the Patriot Act that actually takes away some of our rights?

you should elaborate. surely you must realize that liberals will get mad at your question because its obviously derogatory and conservatibes wont feel like sitting around contemplating your question to think of examples unless theyre really feeling active.
