ENGLAND are currently in third place in Group E of the 2008 UEFA European Championship qualifiers with 8 points, 5 points behind leaders, CROATIA & 3 points behind RUSSIA in second place. they will have to start winning their matches again & finish either as the group winners or group runners-up in order to qualify for the finals next year. only the top two teams from each qualifying group (no play-off matches) will qualify to the 2008 UEFA European Championship finals in AUSTRIA & SWITZERLAND.

Well, the only thing that gives me hope is that Russia is one of the teams above England in points and there are two qualifiers remaining between the two squads. So, if England doesn't drop any more points, they could still make it, seeing as Russia would lose 6 possible points. That would mean England and Croatia would have one loss a piece and everyone else would have at least 2, assuming neither Croatia nor Russia loses another match (other than the one against England).
Of course, if they lose or draw against other teams, the situation would change, but you get the general idea.

England will have to get rid of Steve McClaren first hes not a good enough manager to get England playing the way we should be. We have 7 qualifying games remaining so any body could still go through but with the likes of Russia and Croatia being above us it might be difficult

They got no chance. They let Russia and Croatia pick up points while they bore the fans to death with a "Supposed" great team.

England have the players as individuals, no doubt about that, but they very rarely perform as a team...

Well who puts a right winger at left wing, a centre mid at right wing, a centre back at left back, and who puts Phil Neville anywhere on the pitch, but I still believe they will get through quite comfortably

i hate to say it but no i dont think they will, that is until they learn that they are too overated and not as good as they think they are, were no longer a force in international football, teams must relish playing us lately.
im guessing that they have to win nearly all of their games to qualify and we still have to play russia twice!!!!
