How do you kill RAAM on Gears of War?

I have been shooting him in the face everytime the birds and black cloud clear, but he keeps killing me. any tips?

best strategy is before you go in grab the torque bow and the sniper...torque bow him or toss a grenade so the buggies go away and then snipe him in the head a few times...if he comes up to you just run down the side but stay in the light. if you have xbox live then it would be alot easier if you hosted a campaign so someone could join cuz its a lot easier with two real people playing
