Have tried this myself a number of times. Yes it does work - though only in the short term. Problems, issues, life - only appears to be being dealt with, or forgotten about - depending on your level of non sobriety. In actuality life gets a lot better after a length of Non Sobriety - as you only then appreciate exactly what it means to be sober and all the things in life that are meaning full and worth basing your life around.

That's a very sad commentary on a life philosophy ... LIFE is for the LIVING .. and to truly experience all the joys, sorrows, challenges and successes ... it is best experienced by being SOBER and knowing the wide variety of emotions and feelings that come with Sobriety!

i base my life on being sober, life's better when you can experience the truth of it.

All good things in moderation, Josh. If you stay drunk all the time, chances are you're not going to enjoy the feelings you get from booze or drugs because it will be "same **** different day".

Sadly enough. It seems like most social situations revolve around some form of intoxication.

You are so cool. ...really. You're not a mindless, spineless, waste of space at all.
