trying to hook up officejet printer model hp t45 series need software do not have software install cd. can anyone help me with this problem

Go to HP's website, go to the drivers download page, find the model of your printer, download the drivers, and install.

You can try to download the software from the HP site (they may have it) or you'd have to contact HP and request a cd with the software.
