Takes it for granted, drop him, move Gerrard in field, and Lennon on the right, and watch him rip any left back in the world apart !!!

Lampard is good and talented. But bcos of the overwhelming talent in the England squad, his performance tends to be overshadowed.

Put him in a team like Russia or Scotland which are not as good as England, Lampard will shine. Why? Bcos he'll have scoring chances. He'll set up important goals.

Why is he so good in Chelsea? bcos he scores goals? free kicks? penalties? or bcos only drogba's scoring the goals while the rest of the players just add a goal or two here and there?

In england who's the free kick and penalty takers? Its not always him. So bcos he doesn't get as many goals as he does at Chelsea, he gets criticised.. I don't think that's fair cos the fact is that he's a good player.

Maybe a system closer to what they play at Chelsea would work better in regards to Lampard? Chelsea has Makelele, Lampard and Ballack all co-existing in midfield with wingers who posess quite a bit of pace running up and down the sides. Couldn't something like that work with Hargreaves in the Makelele spot and Gerrard and Lampard both more in the middle (like the diamond) and then have Aaron Lennon on the left wing, a healthy Joe Cole on the right and then if Rooney must be there, stick him in front of the goal like Ronaldo in Germany. Certainly someone should be able to get the ball to him and he could flip it in or fall in the goal or something.

why is everyone on englands team so bad when they play for england is the better question. Lampard obviously cant accept a role where he has to be the leader. at chelsea he has essien, cole and ballack, to do all the dirty work he just has to play his role.

I'll tell you though if they can find someway for him and Gerrard to work together in the middle they could be a great team again. until that however they will suck big time.

Frank Lampard was excellent for England in Euro 2004. I'm trying to remember if Steven Gerard was also in that team or not. If he was then we know they can play together. If he wasn't then perhaps it's one or the other only for England.

I don't know what to do with Lampard. You want to pick him because of his continuously excellent form for Chelsea, but when the puts on the English shirt his form dips and his accuracy on goal suffers the most. I cringed after seeing Lampard miss goals so many times during the last World Cup.

It's not that bad. I think all the E players was playing badlly, they play well in their club but not in E team, so I think it's becoz of the coach, not only Lampard
