how come when people go in to get their eyebrows done they walk in with really thin eyebrows and walk out with thick shaped eyebrows. Oh and it's not eyebrow powder either?

I believe it's virtually impossible to walk in to a salon and have your brows waxed, and come out with more hair than what you had to begin with.

Are you sure you didn't type that backwards? Perhaps the salon is penciling/styling the brows afterwards, but there's no way that they could have thin eyebrows when they walked in, and thick when they left.

like the last post said I have never heard of this happening. I know that when you go for an eyebrow tint it makes your eyebrows look fuller because all the hairs are a uniform colour.

maybe the people added eyebrow tint. i know that when i go into get my waxing. my eyebrows always end up a bit thinner then when i went in. maybe it just appears that way because the eyebrow is more defined and groomed.

not sure what u mean. i personally get mine waxed and they def look thinner when i leave! maybe they just look thicker bc they are well defined. also, a lot of places wax then use an eyebrow pencil to shape them before u leave! after mine are waxed, i have puffy red skin above and below my eyebrows due to my sensitive skin. hope this helps.

I think what you mean is that when the brows are well-shaped, the remaining brows look more defined, which does give the impression of more density within that shape.
