If you want to become more flexible, you must stretch from 20 to 30 minutes everyday with at least a 15 min prior warm up. A warm up is crucial because a it supplies blood and oxygen to the stretching muscles. To achieve the scorpion stretch, you will need to do alot of back and quadriceps stretches. Hold each stretch from 15 to 30 seconds, any less and the stretches are pointless, and WITHOUT bouncing for this tears tendons. Also, remember to breath. People tend to hold their breath while stretching but this in turn causes the muscles to receive a mall supply of oxygen and the stretching then becomes pointless.

So, in summary, warm up, hold stretch for 15-30 second, breathe, and don't bounce!

Good Luck!!

ok i cheered for 5 yrs a scorpion is where u grab your foot and pull it all the way up from behind u i never could do this a heel stretch is when u grab ur heel and pull up in front of u but kinda on the side with ur leg straight . hurkies r where u jump up one leg goes out forward the other stays bent then a toe touch is whre u do a chinese split by jumping up in the air and spreading ur legs (also touching both feet**toes**) good luck i love cheerleading but i dance way more!
