Don't you realize that's what they're trying to do, and that, by giving them what they want, you're only encouraging further protests?

Has that REALLY not occurred to you?

Don't you realize you empower people by giving them attention?

BESIDES, those war protesters are simply exercising their Constitutional rights, freedoms and liberties... have you ever the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America ("Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances")???

So, they're exercising their Constitutional rights, liberties and freedoms... why not leave them alone? At least they're not being apathetic to the abuses and violations of the Constitution! "Has that REALLY not occurred to you?"

It's not those against the protesters that want to give them attention. Most of us realize that's their ammunition. It's the media that eats it right up and splashs their ugliness for the whole world to see. The liberal media. They don't show those who are protesting the protesters so what does that tell you?

To those that say the so-called "liberal media" are the ones giving protestors attention, can you please show me a front-page from any major newspaper that has covered a war protest in recent months?

Not saying there aren't any, but I'm extremely doubtful.

Thanks.

But how can Bush supporters throw insults at the protestors without giving them attention ?
because the only way to avoid facing their claim that the war in Iraq is not working is to throw insults at them...

It's the media. I ignore them, most people I know ignore them, but up rolls the news van and they want to show me the morons protesting.

Usually when those stories come on the news, I grab a football magazine and go take a dump.

War Protesters only empower the Terrorist.

By staying quite we empower them more. They should have their say and those that oppose should not. By keeping silent they will use that as an tacit approval of the majority.

The war protesters irritate me to no end. Nonetheless, they are expressing the rights that I hold dear. They have every right to protest, even when it makes me angry.

I just hope they are aware that every freedom they have was paid for in blood.

You follow your conscience.

And I'll follow mine!

Many people who protested in DC came from all over the country!
Dedicated Patriots I would say!!!

Wish I could have been there with them!

They can do what ever they want short of assaulting old people and damaging property, public or private. I ignore all the baloney they spew, it's kind of humorous how far off point they really are!
