In a word, NO!!!! They bloom, they wither, they die. After the bloom death you should remove any dead flowers and fertilize the bed with a basic granular fert and bonemeal or Lime. Allow the green to remain and treat it/them as a garden for at least a month. If you have feed the bulbs and left the green alone they should return next year.
Always plant bulbs away from your home in a group. A group of say 100 bulbs makes a great display and away from your home leads grubs, moles, etc, away from your other plants..
