Example? Why? Why should anyone want such example? For what reason, what purpose? What possibly does such avail anyone?
Until some gay or lesbian shoves his or hers literally down another's throat or atop of someone's face, and that without the willingness and want of all concerned, then such concerns and questions are moot at best and mental masturbation at worst.
Such has no substance, no meaning and is a considerably poor use of energy and intention by those who would wax and wane about it.
On that of the second question... This concern is more dreadful than the first. Such unions are threats to no one --heterosexual or otherwise plant or beast, certainly not to any heavenly body of the outlying universe, and certainly not to the likes of me, who cares little about what an individual does with his or her genitalia or personal life, so long as theirs does not expressly, tangibly infringe upon mine. And this follows as regards anything " scriptural " or constitutional.
These things are spurious, mockups got up by the fearful, the ignorant and in effect, the outright bigots of humankind.
Beware the herd...

There is no "threat to marriage". Marriage has been destroyed for a very, very long time. Reasons for people getting married today, in order from most to least:
Citizenship
Pregnancy
Money
As a joke
Love
So if anyone really wants to keep the sanctity of marriage, you would have to outlaw all of those options except for love too.

There isn't one, and it's not. If anyone feels that a gay marriage is a threat to their hetero marriage, maybe they should WORK on their marriage! It's very sad when someone else's relationship can impact yours. It means you don't have a healthy relationship with your SO.

basically you people have major issues with the rest of the world. It's not like gays hurting any one, but the heteros just want to start scandals, acting more like drama queens.

Since you are bringing the Bible into this (Robert P) and you seem to be quoting Jesus, please tell me exactly what Jesus had to say about homosexuality. EXACTLY....He never mentions one word about it.
As far as gay rights; we have very few.

There's no example, because it's never happened. There is nothing threatening heterosexual marriages.
