I bought a PS3 today andimmediately took it round my brothers to connect it to his HD-TV. NOw I have brought it home to my non-HDTV but it won't show anything on the screen. I think it is because I have it set up to HDTV, but as I can't see the display screen I can't work out how to change the settings. I suppose I need a reset button on the machne but I can't find one anywhere on it.
PLease help - I really want to play with it tonight!!

You cannot use an HDMI cable on a regular TV.

Use the cable included with the PS3

ok heres the plan, switch ur console off and then on again. wait 30seconds then using the d pad hold the left button down for a few secs. then tap right once, then hold the up arrow for a couple of secs. now tap the down arrow 7 times. press x twice. then tap down 3 times. press x once. then push down once. then push x once then x again . to make sure this works make sure u have the standard scart connected. this way is simply going through ur settings blind folded. hope this works should do. ps3

Take it back and exchange it for a 360 Pro, extra wireless controller, HD-DVD player add-on and Web-Cam. You will have some change for a full McDonald's on the way home as well!

you can see it on a normal tv you just need to not conect the cable to the tv but where are you connecting it to turn your tv on and then its probebly a ext1 or ext2 (extention) you just need to select the conection u wnat it into and then go to menu on your tv and select the ext1 or ext2 and it should be on either 1 or the other of those connections its the same on the other type of tv's but at the mo i have experinace in the lg and the sony and the panasonic tv's mail me on stefan130890@yahoo.co.uk
