I don't excatly know. but one thing I have noticed is some small,un-noticed ways children are being hurt which is a major outrage on my part.
for example in some movies with child actors, children are made to act too emotionally & "grown up"which seriously interfereres with their naturalness & their innocence & purity. I think it could be part of the reason why some child actors like Drew Barrymore & Macaulay Culkin have had so many problems later in life.
Also I think sometimes these laws are useless, as in most cases children who are being abused are voiceless as they don't understand what's happening let alone be able to complain until someone rescues them or finds out about it.

They didn't, unless a court action was raised to sort out individual cases and set precedents in law. The trouble is, as usual, some people see everything as their own god-given right to do as they please. This act was supposed to give children rights to be fed, clothed, educated and looked after properly. Not for children to use when they've been excluded from school for dying their hair pink or equally stupid "right" they feel they have.

Hopefully as parents we could police ourselves as guardians of our children. Yes i know you have the people that call them selves good people miss treating children and one day they have to meet their maker.
