Where can I try real Mayan food?

Many places have excellent food, in Playa Del Carmen I would suggest Yaxche, beautiful atmosphere with tables along the street or in the garden, their Kinich chicken is YUMMY, it's a grilled breast marinated in chipolte pepper and tangerine, and their Tik N Xic fish marinated in achiote paste and sour orange then grilled with banana leaf is to die for.......check out their website http://www.mayanfood.com .....you won't be disappointed.
Try La Parilla to for their "Carmen Shrimp", it's shrimp in a 3 cheese sauce to die for.....

The best place to get good Mayan food in Cancun is in a restaurant called Paloma Bonita. Their food is delicious.
It's located at the top of the 7 on Dreams Cancun Resort & Spa property.

in the mexican southeast like in yucatan campeche or quintana roo the food there is good
