I mean thats my favorite football team and all....but i think the management is just getting straight out dumb. They traded Adam Archuleta for a 6th-Round Draft pick in 2007, i mean i personally didnt like Adam Archuleta, hes a great Safety but didnt have the season i wanted him to have. He had gotten signed for the Highest Contract in NFL Safety history..i mean u think about the Ed Reed, Sean Taylor.. there is alot of great safteys in the league right now and he gets the highest contract in Safety history, and then they trade him to the Chicago Bears for a 6th-round draft pick...couldnt we get better? and Are they stupid or what?

As a Bears fan I question this myself, after all he was benched and sent to special teams. Why trade for a guy 6th round or not that is so highly paid and had poor season? I think Brown is the best safety the Bears have and they might now cut him because they signed a recently unproven, over paid "friend". I like Lovie and trust his decisions thus far, but Archuleta played under Lovie at St.Louis and they may be the main reason he was signed. Why bring over the "highest" paid s.s over when you won't pay Briggs?

The Bears either got a steal and the Redskins look stupid or....The Bears release Brown, he'll continue to succeed and Archuleta continues to stink, then the Bears would be Stupid ones.

After all you can pick up all-stars and HOFers in the 6th round, Tom Brady & Terrell Davis just to name a few!

Well the skins are worth a billion and a half $$ so Snyder must be doing something right. Now he needs to buy some real football ppl, im not sure whos in the front office but it sure aint working. MCD, HMC, WMT, spurrier, archuleta, coles, its like a day trade in there and as long as they keep bringing in the wrong guys, they wont win the big one. better talent evaluators is what they need. Im not bashing, im a skins fan too. id hate to see gibbs legacy take this type of turn. As for archuleta, he's not done yet, he hits hard enough but isnt fast enough for that system, he can line up a couple yards deeper on pass plays cause urlacher will have to cover the space archuleta cant, they didnt have that in wash. i think he'll do well with his old coach, you wont want to run aginst the bears next season. and a 4th rounder seems about right, 6th is too low. Wanna talk about stupid? ---> Texans front office!

The Redskins think that the only way to get better is to sign players to high priced contracts that they do not really reserved and trading for players. I understand maybe every couple years signing a big name free agent but doing it every year and losing draft picks with bonehead trades stops the team from getting to the playoffs every year. With the draft teams can get young players that can be developed. But when you have a impatient, richdumb *** running your team its not going to succeed. That's why the redskins should look at recent Superbowl champs and perennial playoff teams to learn how to build a great team.

Archuleta is done. His best days were with the Rams. They made up for it by signing London Flether and Fred Smoot. That 6th round pick is questionable though.

Adam is a great saftey and will become even better with the bears. teh skins made a complete bonehead move by trading him for just a 6th round pick. with the right team involved, they could've gotten a 2nd to 4th rounder.

The Redskins are stupid. But not as dumb as the Colts Front office. They actually think they can afford to loose all the people who won them the Superbowl.

As a Rams fan, having Arch was fun. He could hit as hard as anybody. Unforturnately, his coverage skills suck. Thats why he isnt the highest paid safety anymore.
