this is a very common question! but yes you can, its not exactly a period but you could have implantation bleeding, which people do mistake as a period! if its shorter and dont last as long then yes, you could be pregnant!..also some people DO get early pregnancy bleeding as well, not exactly a period but you can bleed off and on during early pregnancy!...

Yes, it would be an irregular period though. It is not very common but my mother had her period off and on during her pregnancy with my brother and sister.

I still bleed alot for my first kid. Its normal to still have your period when you are pregnant, but I would let your doctor to know anyhow.

Good luck! I am 39 weeks and nervous!

if you are not sure or if it is still early in you pregnancy than it could be normal, according to what i found for you this is called inplantation bleeding caused by the egg burrowing into your uterus, BUT depending on how far into pregnancy you are this could be something SERIOUS, first signs of miscarriage. PLEASE! do not be concerned before visiting the address i provided for you, from there on its entirely up to you.

Apparently it depends on the woman.

Docs say "no" but a lot of women who have had successful & healthy pregnancies say Oh hell yes!

(sigh)...so it probably depends on what your preg. test says!

I'd suggest some sites but honestly they all confuse me with some saying yes, others saying no--so I'd suggest to just get another test.
