Basically its like watching a martial arts movie except that wrestlers have a different type of fighting they do. They "script" the fighting in martial arts movies, and they "script" the fighting in prowrestling.
Still a lot of people really do get injured. Many times when this happens they will scirpt a injury on the show that is supposed to explain why a wrestler is not wrestling.
Also a lot of the stuff they do really does hurt. Can't fake the impact from a body chop, or from a chair (unless you block it).
On Tough Enough (old wrestling reality show) they showed people training to be wrestlers getting body chops (back hand slap to body), and they would literally cut some people's skin from the impact. Most people just got really red.

The wrestling may be "fake" but the pain is real. Yes, you will get the wind knocked out of you from a spine buster or from a gorilla press slam. It doesn't feel good, that's for sure. And sometimes, it doesn't take a razor blade to make you bleed, if you get hit in the head hard enough you will bleed. Anything you get hit with hurts. But, you're getting paid for it, so sell it like no tomorrow.

YES it is,i know it is SAD!
to get the blood the ref slips the a knife and the slit a part in your forehead ,it doesnt hurt but it bledds a lot!
that is why HBK has a scar on his forehaed

yes it is fake, but some stuff is real, the blood is mostly not real, if it was real, the match would probably be canceled, and lets put it this way, if people were out there actually doin the stuff they do as hard as they can, there'd be alot more injuries

You're not seriously asking that question.... where have you been that you don't know that wrestling is choreographed. But you gotta admit, they have to have some skills to carry some of that stuff off.

DUH, but dont get me wrong, they have to be in great shape and are extremely athletic to do some of the things that they do.
