It's swollen too, and it hurts to bend...but I don't think is broken or anything.....I've had an ingrown toenail before (other foot) and it felt like this whit the same symptoms... and a stumped toe lead to an ingrown toenail? why?

More information please. Where is the blood and pus coming from...around the toenail possibly? Did the toe bleed when the injury first happened? For the time being wash the site and pat dry with a clean towel...put some antibiotic ointment with a dressing on your toe. Apply a cold pack to it and then elevate your foot so that it is above your heart. Take ibuprofen for the pain and because it is an anti-inflammatory as well it will help with any swelling that may occur. If you get a temp of over 101 call the emergency room and ask for assistance .

You have broken your toe. Until you see your doctor, get some medical tape, tape the toe to the toe next to it or the toes that are on either side. Apply ice for 20 minutes at least every two hours while awake. Elevate the foot. Take Tylenol or Motrin whatever you can take, check with your mom on the dosing. Then see your doctor.

My experience with similar injuries......I have soaked the foot in Epsom salt and warm water. Have the water as warm as you can stand it. After doing so for about 15 minutes....put a cotton ball between the two toes and tape them both together. This should give you some relief until you see the doctor.

Try bathing it in ice for the time being, you do need to see a doctor as none of us can help really as we havent seen it. If you're walking about, put a wet cloth in the freezer for 5 mins or so and put it on. I would try not to walk on it though and put your foot up if you can, as all the blood is rushing to your toe and thats why its hurting. They higher it is, the less its going to hurt. I hope you feel better :)

Blood and puss??? GO TO THE ER.
However, if you are being stubborn about it:

R.I.C.E.

Rest - Get off of it.
Ice it down
C- compression, wrap your total foot in an ace bandage
Elevation.

Get some Tylenol or Motrin in your system. Remember to follow directions on the meds, as both can be dangerous if taken in large amounts.

Time kick back and watch a couple of movies or TV.
