In the Uk we put the clocks back one hour in the winter and then put them forward one hour in spring. But what I want to know is do other countries put their clocks forward and back when we do. If not how is that they are always the same amount of time ahead of us or behind us throughout the year??

Most countries do but at different times. You will find that European time will differ by two hours for another week or so because their time change is next week.

Hi Psych!

There are differing rules all over the world.

We in the United States (including parts of Arizona, to correct one answer) turned ours ahead the Second Sunday of March. Mexico goes ahead next week, the First Sunday of April. Parts of the Middle East go ahead at different times.

Australia turned their clocks back one hour this weekend, in all states except Queensland (as one writer pointed out). New Zealand went back last week, and much of South America did two weeks ago. Daylight Time ends in Namibia next weekend, the First Sunday of April.

In the USA (most of it anyway) we move them ahead on the second Sunday of March, then back on the first Sunday of November (just changed by President Bush this year).

In France they do on the same day as you and therefore they are still 1 hour ahead.

iciness has the shortest days interior the 12 months and the solar is out for much less time. so human beings dont stroll around at nighttime they adjust it by means of an hour. in any different case it would get darkish realy early and realy overdue, they make a stability. kinda stressful w/college although =(
