My computer.. i dont know if its the motherboard or video card.. no signal to monitor.. but fans and everything run.... i tried turnin it on and leaving my speaker up to hear if it even starts to windows.. didnt hear it.. but then it might not start because theres no video card maybe?/ this computer was put together running only 2 days.. what can i do.. whats the problem?? video carD?? motherboarD?... everything turns on..... but no signal.. grr

Check the cable connections from the monitor to the computer. If they are loose it can cause an issue.

If that is not the problem, then it could be any number of issues with the computer itself. Start by making sure everything on the inside is plugged in securely.

Then start removing PC cards(except the video card) and then test.

Then try different memory. So on and so forth.

If you get no video during post or any beeps during post, I would say you have a mother board or microprocessor problem. As the board is not starting. If it was just your video card it should go through all normal processes other than video. Also check your power supply to make sure all voltages are present, you could have +12v but no+/- 5v. This is easy to check.
