If it matters, I am a lefty. I tend to find that most people are less accustomed to left handed pitching, and therefore don't hit as well as usual. In addition, I am not quite sure if it is my being left handed or not, but when I pitch, my ball (if I apply enough power) moves. Which way? I am not really sure as it is not intentional. Plus, if you are talking about a league where pitchers bat, the fielders move so that they have an "advantage" over you when you hit. If you learn to swing early, you can usually bank it the other way and get an easy double. I hope this clarifies your question a bit.

Since most batters are right-handed, and you can't have a staff led by Warren Spahn, Sandy Koufax, Steve Carlton and Johan Santana, you are gonna get smoked 3 games outta 5. No advantages at all. If that is all you show, you are gonna pay the price.

Naturally most hitters are right handed and it is easier to hit a left hander because and breaking ball is coming over the plate or where you can hit it. Thats about the only disadvantage.

An all lefty staff gives you and advantage against teams dominated by lefty handed batters. But it leaves you vulnerable to a team with a lineup of right handed batters. Besides leftys are usually kind of goofy. (The last is a joke)

It gives the other team a look they are less used to, but right-handed pull hitters will love a breaking ball moving INto their power zone in the swing. The left-right percentages are real, but still, skilled pitchers can outdo hitters and skilled hitters beat mediocre pitchers.
