First, there are several socialist parties in the United States, and the Democratic Party isn't one of them.

Here they are:

Socialist Party USA
Socialist Action
Socialist Equality Party
Socialist Labor Party
Socialist Workers Party

And none of them have a "mascot".


BTW, to those folks above me who think they are being witty, Hillary is FAR too centrist to be considered a socialist.

But then, it's obvious from your replies that NONE of you know the slightest thing about modern socilaism.

Isn't Socialism a belief that Society has control over everything? That has been tried many times before, but I admit they were of Military type. True absolute Socialism is called " Christianity " or " life under Christ ". God Bless !!
