No, McLaren just wastes him period.
Superdeano, you are probably not going to be impressed and Wayne missed no sitters, he was too busy being made support Johnstone and chasing long balls.

NO. He is a fine attacking midfielder, but certainly not a center forward. My advice, get rid of Lamps and move Rooney further back and have him play a role like Totti in Italy.
But the problem is that England doesn't have anyone to play off of other than idiot Crouch and AJ. It's a dying situation that will likely see England miss out next year.
The sad thing is that we are simply not that good as a team. And in truth, I think that has a lot to do with how we play the game since kids.

Its a risky pass attempting to come back down not undemanding on him as maximum gamers playing at suitable point aint that involved in internationals besides. appropriate excuse all rooney has to do is say "Im retiring for worldwide duty to pay interest on my club occupation" and growth england are in undertaking .

Wayne Rooney is a gifted player in the right team and under the right manager i think englands problem is that we dont play how the players play week in week out at club level, with pace and passion which is the managers job to try and instill in to the team. At the moment we are under Steve McClaren who was Svens right hand man and hes still trying to play Svens way and not doin a good job

Sometimes Rooney's great, brilliant. But, most of the time Rooney is a waste of space. He causes **** and screws his team over. Steps on peoples balls and loses the World Cup for us. I can't stand him! He looks like frickin' SHREK!

If things ain't going for him he is likely to get booked as he did tonight and not long after he was booked with Ben Haim he motioned to the ref that Ben Haim should be booked for fouling AJ,but it was not mentioned be the commentators because its only foriegners that do that.
He should be dropped for a couple of games to let him know where he stands and give Defoe a full match
