I take it you's have never been to or even seen the Manx TT.
It runs for over a week through some of the best roads on the Isle of Mann. 35 miles per lap. The senior TT is from memory 6 laps. Great viewing points everywhere.

I've never been to any of them but as a Brit I always wanted to do the TT during the 60's but that was then and now the scene is different both for me as well as the racing.

For me now that I am an aging rocker I would very much like to do the Sturgess. I was in Florida in 2004 during Daytona bike week but family and Disney I never made the trip but you never know one day
I am definately doing Route 66 in 2009 on a Harley. Time already booked and I am going
Either way enjoy what you do and for the reasons you do it. Keep your riding safe and good luck with whatever you choose. Enjoy !!!

All the celebrities and Big Shots in the Biker World go to
STURGESS, It used to be more affordable to go to Daytona
but Not anymore U just about have to have reservations
unless u plan on camping out or already have a place to stay.
There are Tons of iron horses at any three places and each
seems to grow bigger every year. The Lucky Few get to
attend them all.

Depends on what you are goin for I guess.
You want a big biker party... go to Sturgis... I been there 3 times... raced the 1/2 mile at the fairgrounds and the short track at the club grounds. My name is on the White Plate Flat Trackers monument in the city park along with my dad. He originally asked me when I went my first time in '83 "What the hell do you want to go there for? It's nothin' but a dust bowl". He was right.
You want girls... go to Daytona... it's spring break... lots of great food and beverage... better races. Been there 3 times too.
Remember... neither Sturgis or Daytona are near the caliber of racing they used to be.
You want motorcycles? Parties? Girls? Racing? Over 100 pubs in 37 miles(and we ain't talkin' Bud). Did I mention motorcycle racing. International flair and appeal. And coming up this year... the 100th anniversary! That's right... the biggest motorcycle birthday party in the world is this summes. I've never been even though I have friends who go and a native of the IOM who has visited me and invites me every year. I wanna go so bad. Just need more money!

I like Daytona best because it is a chance to go south where it's warm after a long cold winter.Sturgis is always the first full week of August and I've got over the cold weather by then.

My bike and wallet both don't like any of them. I would rather take a week to ten days with a close friend and ride a few thousand miles of back roads. This country is still full of them.
