first and foremost you have to find what's causing the mold in your house. You need to fix and/or repair any leaks from your roof and pipes and replaced any flooring or walls. Also, after all the repairs, you may need a dehumidifier to get rid of all the extra humidity.

Bleach (diluted preferably to keep from harming surfaces) will kill the mold, but you need to eliminate the cause. You local health department can get you in touch with someone who can give you more information about what could be causing your mold. I kept having mold in my windowsills and had to get my windows replaced even though they were only two years old (just not installed correctly at all).

Taps that are running can cause some moisture in your house, the had this problem too.
Use bleach to clean up the mold, our carpet was moldy when we first moved into this house. We ended up having to get this rug professionally done because it was not done right.
