I'm only 8 weeks is something wrong with me should I try eating more. Im a college student and I work which I do a lot of walking everyday. Can this be okay for me and the baby?

I lost 12 pounds at first and only just this last week gained it back and I'm 24 weeks. So don't worry about it it's pretty common, particularly in the first trimester, especially with a first kid or if you have a lot of nausea. You're not actually supposed to eat any more than usual during the first trimester, so if you're not eating less you probably eating enough but if you're not nauseous it won't hurt to eat more as long as you pick healthy foods. Walking a lot is great for you and the baby, the better shape you're in the easier your labor will go. Walking is a great excercise because it's low impact.

Well in sex ed class they always said that one of the first signs of pregnancy is a weight gain OR loss of 10lbs.

Also so long as you are eating a balanced diet you should ignore the scale.

I lost 35 lbs the first trimester of pregnancy. I gained back only 10lbs by the end. But I was eating properly -or at least as well as I could. I ate 10-12 servings of fruit and veg a day and 100 grams of protein (which is very important). And some grains. My baby ws 8lbs 2oz, my placenta was huge (seriously gigantic) and my baby was a week late and could hold his head up from day one.

Trust me on this, eat well and do NOT get on a scale, you can refuse the weigh-ins at the doctor too. You are by far better off to keep a food journal and have a qualified care giver monitor fetal growth than to eat crap and gain the "right" amount. Get a good midwife who has some training in nutrition and you will not regret it.

Some women loose weight during their pregnancy. I was one of them, I was skinny to start with and went down allot during the first month, then started to steadily gain weight. Do you have morning sickness? That could be playing with your weight. Also school is stressful and can cause you to loose weight. I was in my last semester and pregnant the mid terms and exams took it hard on me, but in the end it worked out great. Try eating more often small meals, take snacks to school with you and eat what you want. If you continue to loose weight past 3 month your OB will likely to suggest a diet. Follow it, but I think you will be fine the baby is taking what it needs from you so there is not allot of risk there. Take your prenatal vitamins (really important) and try not to stress too much. Let your teachers and your boss know what’s going on, they are people they understand. Good luck and congratulations.

Dont worry about it. i was 222 when i got pregnant and now am 216 at 24 weeks (back up from 198 at 10 weeks).

Sometimes women do tend to loose weight and gain baby! this can actually be healthy for you and the baby as long as you are still eating and getting the nutriants you need and your doctor is not concerned. My doctor actually is glad to see some of my weight go down. Less stress on my heart and less stress on my baby girl.

Walking is good for you also as long as there are no exersize restrictions. it helps you get those muscles ready for the big day!

CONGRATS ON YOUR PREGNANCY!!!

It wouldn't hurt to get checked out although I'm finding a lot of ppl lose weight if they were heavier before they got pregnant & now they are eating more healthy & walking to prepare for the birth.

Little Wayne became caught with the smoking gun. The thousand pages consisted of motions, trial postponements etc.etc. the superb evidence the Prosecution had against Casey became her silly, insensitive habit. Cindy Anthony, Casey's mom, claimed she did the chloroform searches on her very own pc. The duct tape belonged to George Anthony each and all of the evidence became basically circumstantial and would have particularly been used against the two of the moms and dads. in my view, if I have been the prosecutor i'd have dropped the expenses till I had some actual evidence. there's no Statute of barriers for homicide, however the 6th exchange to the U.S. shape states: In all offender prosecutions, the accused shall savour the superb suited to a speedy and public trial, by utilising an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed. circumstances have been brushed aside by way of fact the Prosecution did no longer proceed in a well timed way. Why do you think of it took 3 years to deliver the case to trial? The prosecution had no evidence of Casey's guilt, no DNA. no fingerprints, no witnesses. They could no longer even tutor Casey became a undesirable mom. by way of fact she have been incarcerated for 3 years, if the trial have been not on time greater, the case would have been brushed aside and the ought to no longer have been retried.

While it is common for some women to loose weight during their pregnancy, you need to bear in mind that all women are different.

The best thing to do is to contact your doctor immediately so they can verify that the weight loss is a natural process for you at this time.

On a personal note, I do think that loosing 15lbs within a two month span, might not exactly be the best thing at this point for you.
